(1) Hidden Hills, CA-Inside This Exclusive, Gated Community “> all right today we’re going to be checking out this gated community of Hidden Hills let’s go through the security gate here check in and we’ll check it out slow down and yield to the horses that’s what the sign says all right we’re in let’s check it out a lot of famous people live here it’s kind of an exclusive gated community you have to know somebody that lives here to get in so I figure we’ll go and check it out that’s kind of the main street here Long Valley so I heard there’s about two 2,000 people that live in the community (01:03) but it takes a lot of space because as you can see the houses are fairly large and take up lot of space let’s take this straight here side straight well call this (02:24) sack major addition or new home has been proposed for this site yeah it looks like it can use a new home in that site have this old school pay phone here haven’t seen one of these in a while so this is the Hidden Hills Clubhouse the Hidden Hills theater there’s a pool here at the clubhouse and tennis courts and I think most houses here (03:28) already have a pool inside but there’s one here at the clubhouse just in case and there’s a lot of horse properties here looks like a lot of people have horses out here yeah there’s a horse right there there’s some horse stables right there across from the clubhouse just going to drive back along this Main Street here of Hidden Hills W look there’s a horse right there see some Stables oh more horses there we ( so Hidden Hills is pretty close to Calabasas just on the very western edge of the San Fernando Valley so from downtown LA I want to say we’re a good maybe 35 miles or so and bentura county is probably starts around 10 or 12 miles to the West here so we’re just kind of at the Western Edge of LA County [Music] here this almost has a country Western Field to it with the horses and the Big Ranch houses and everything anyway we’re going to be heading for the exit just thought it might be interesting for people to check it out can’t really go in here unless you know somebody that lives here that can get you in so thought it might be cool so thanks for checking out the video there’s our exit right there hope to see you next time

down and put up a huge fight there’s a lot of people that are really worried about the exposure of this area and what it looks like we’re in Hidden Hills right now I’ve I lived in here from the time I was 19 till I sold my the house when I was 34 it doesn’t look like what people think it is it’s not just like all these homes that are on top of each other and all these celebrities just driving around talking to each other all (00:27) the homes in here are on at least an acre and you need at least 75 ft from the street to the property and 50 ft between each property on the side where we are right now in Hidden Hills it’s called The Ashley estat this guy Mike Ashley bought a lot of land in here held on to him over time started developing and building houses in here and these were a lot of the lots that he owned this is where this guy made all of his money buying land holding onto it then building homes on them and selling them for massive profits (01:01) can anyone just drive through no you have to either have a friend or family member who lives in here you have to you have to live in here and have a placard that allows you access through the gate this is the huge complex that Chloe and Chris built and they just finished last year but it seems like there’s just like NeverEnding construction over here in security greeting Amazon they’re not even allowed to go up the driveway their security has to greet them and take the packages up that’s crazy so what’s actually prettyy cool none of (01:33) the celebrities will really have anything on their sign but every house has a sign it’s either the address or they’ll have like a little name of the house like this one is Camp fredman obviously their last name is Freedman our sign was the hidden Hillbillies Hidden Hills has a community center and at the community center they have like their little Hidden Hills office with some guys and girls who work in there and they take care of all of like that stuff obviously like a lot of the people that are moving in here are either (02:03) connected to some industry that might be related to the entertainment industry there’s lawyers doctors entrepreneurs that’s the community center there’s kids plays that get put on and the adults will do a play it ends up being like a pretty funny thing the horses right here this is like what Hidden Hills used to be the house used to be set up from the street either were you horses either in front depending on like the the general design of the actual plot every house had to have like a set aside for a barn or like a riding rink or just like a (02:38) little staging area with access to the trails these stables and and riding areas right here for holding staging areas for the horses they then have access to I mean the sidewalks aren’t even paved it’s all decomposed Granite so the horses can walk on and then they have access off of the main streets to the bridal Trail this is kyli Jenner’s compound that she’s building it was it was originally I believe believe it was like three or four plots that she bought and is just slowly developing so the HOA it is 25 cents of (03:10) uh per $1,000 of assessed value so that’s 25 cents per ,000 so you do the math whatever a $10 million house is it’s basically $2 12% per $1,000 my stepmom when her and her ex-husband lived in here they lived in this house and then however many owners later and developers later remodeled redid the whole thing and uh it’s now little Lil Wayne’s house so now we’re turning on to Hidden Ridge from Lasher Road this is where Kylie Jenner and Matt Stafford lived that’s Stafford’s house with a really cool entry and this is Kylie’s house I (03:48) think there’s like 550 something homes in here who knows what it is with all the new development but last I checked it was about 550 and there’s still plots in here that haven’t even been touched there’s never been a house on them this house right here has so much Citrus during Co for some reason I got into making jams and marmalades and my mom met these people at the farmers market in here every Tuesday or Wednesday There’s a farmers market that happens here at the community center this house has a lot of like Meer lemons car car (04:21) oranges blo like I we literally had I think eight shopping bags full of citrus and I just started making lemon curd and orange marmalade was marmalade for months the sense of used to be a lot more prevalent and then with the influx like I said of of the people that have kind of come in here not to say that they ruined it or completely got away from it but I think that as more higher net worth people have moved in who want their privacy and AR is engaged it’s kind of taken away from it a little bit this is Kim’s house it hasn’t (04:53) necessarily taken away it’s taken away from it a little bit every may I think it is there’s there’s a 3-day event called Fiesta and there is a parade that happens at the round at the beginning of round Meadow goes all the way down round Meadow makes it right on long valy and goes to the community center they close off the streets and they have a whole Carnival so they bring in carnival rides and all this stuff and it’s just this massive like Community Extravaganza and in that sense it’s alive and well Halloween is crazy especially on Long (05:26) Valley and like the the part of round Meadow closer to round to Long Valley and you know there’s definitely there like look there’s look here’s the deal folks there’s a sense of community for sure as time evolves and people are more into their security and seclusion and privacy it’s gotten away from it but when things like that come around like Fiesta or 4th of July in Halloween you know there’s also a lot of parties that happen in here so it’s it’s calabases it’s high net worth people it’s trendy materialism and there’s clicks (06:00) definitely don’t want to sound like I’m talking on my on a neighborhood that I grew up in but yeah things things change people change demographic change so that was Hidden Hills I only lived in there a couple years cuz then my brother and I moved out but I mean basically was there all the time from the time I was 19 till 34 35 just showing Calabasas and Hidden Hills and if you want to move to Hidden Hills I know it like the back of my hand so uh just slide right into the DMs oh
