Best of Las Vegas Neighborhood Living

Best Las Vegas Neighborhoods

(00:00) As a realtor, I often get asked where I would move if I were relocating here today. And honestly, there are a lot of great options in Las Vegas, but there’s one community that Forbes has named one of the most exclusive places to live in America, and that one would be at the top of my list. But here’s the surprise. It’s not in a place that most people would guess. Today, I’m going to show you five amazing neighborhoods, and I’m
(00:23) saving the best one for last. I’m excited to show you what makes these Las Vegas areas so unique. I’m Christian Pro, your local expert here in Las Vegas. And after helping hundreds of families find the right home, I’ve learned something that most agents don’t talk about, and that’s what we’re going to dive into today. Let’s start with an area that is best known for families. Henderson offers great amenities, and
(00:44) there are two standout neighborhoods that we’re going to cover. McDonald Ranch covers a big area. It’s about 564 acres, and it was built with a plan for hillside homes that offer golf course access with wide views of the valley. When you drive through this area, you see homes built into the mountain side. Properties here have a wide range of aesthetic from elegant single family houses to custom builds and they really
(01:08) utilize the height of the land. This area is known for its great views, especially the luxury community of McDonald Highlands. But just wait because later I’m going to show you a spot in Summerland West that might actually blow your mind. Picture this. You’re standing in your living room and you can see the entire Las Vegas strip end to end. What makes McDonald Ranch so special is the Desert Below Golf Course.
(01:29) The golf course runs throughout the entire community and many of the 55 plus homes back right up to the fairways. Before we switch to our next area, if you’re loving this tour, go ahead and hit that subscribe button. I share new Las Vegas neighborhoods every week and insider tips that you’re not going to find anywhere else. Stay tuned cuz we’re just getting started. All right, let’s talk about Inspirada.
(01:50) Now, this area is a bit newer and it’s still in development. It covers over 1,900 acres and was designed with families in mind. There are several big parks, community pools, and places to get together with neighbors. It’s just two miles away from the district at Green Valley Ranch, which feels like a cute little town square with tons of shopping and dining. Henderson definitely feels very much like a suburb.
(02:12) Even though you’re close to everything that’s around the strip, you definitely do not feel like it. It offers real disconnection from the hustle and bustle. Plus, you’re only 15 minutes from the airport, which makes traveling super easy, especially for those who are relocating here and want to get back to family. Now, if you love stunning views and a true luxury feel, you’re going to want to stick around for what’s next because I am about to show
(02:34) you a neighborhood that borders 200,000 acres of protected land and has some insane views of the strip. This area is one of my personal favorites for a big reason. It’s right next to the Red Rock Canyon Conservation Area and it truly feels like it’s tucked away in the mountains while offering some impressive strip views. Summerland West is still growing fast. Top builders like Toll Brothers, Trioint, and Richmond America
(02:58) are adding new homes. And there are also a few wellestablished communities with beautiful treeline streets and green parks. Prices range here from about 500,000 to well over a million. And it’s going to depend on things like square footage, year built, and the views. Later in this tour, I’m going to show you my top pick. And this area takes indooroutdoor living to a whole new level.
(03:18) Summerland was designed by the Howard Hughes Corporation, and it’s well known for its planning. Everything is well thought out. The builder quality care is amazing, and they’re all competing to offer the best floor plans and finishes. When you visit the model homes, you’re going to see things like big kitchen islands, high ceilings, high-end appliances, and modern finishes. Homes near the Red Rock are in high demand because of one thing. There’s limited land.
(03:42) You can’t build more when you’re up against a protected nature preserve. Data shows that the prices here have been rising steadily. Summerland West is always a winner in my book. But next, I’m going to show you a wellplanned Henderson community that was built into the mountains and offers stellar views. Anthem Highlands offers some guardgated communities with great views and has 1,400 homes that range from 1,600 to 3500 square ft.
(04:07) The most exclusive areas are considered Earlstone, Edinburg, and Haddington. Driving through this area, you will definitely notice that you’re up in the mountains. The streets wind through hills and the homes sit up high. Homes in Anthem Highlands range from about 400K to up to 1.3 million depending on where the home sits and what the view offers, square footage, and things like that. This style is a mix of Mediterranean and Tuscan design.
(04:30) There’s also great access to the outdoors because Anthem Highlands connects directly to 48,000 acres of Sloan Canyon’s National Conservation Area. So, the trail starts right at the edge of the neighborhoods, making it easy to head out right out from your front door. This community definitely feels smaller and more private, but it’s also near shopping and restaurants in Green Valley React.
(04:54) The drive up to some of these homes is really stunning, and it really feels like you’re in the mountains, but you still have all the perks of being near a city. Our next community is the first stop on the drive-in from LA. Southern Highlands covers 2,299 acres and there’s a mix of gated family homes and several guardgated luxury communities that are built around the private golf course. This golf course was designed by Robert Trent Jones and
(05:19) Golf Me brings it as one of the top courses in the entire country. The price range here definitely says a lot. You can find smaller homes starting at like 400,000 and estates that are going to range well over 15 million. The price range makes Southern Highland a really nice mix of buyers who want a master plan living or a great option for families looking for super high-end luxury.
(05:43) I’m getting more excited as we go because I know what’s coming up at the end and I cannot wait to share this with you. Imagine combining champion golf course living with natural views we saw in Summerland West. And that’s exactly what my top pick offers and also why the prices there start in the multi-millions. And you’re going to see a great mix of styles here in Sohigh. Some follow the Mediterranean look with tile roofs and courtyards and really
(06:10) nice outdoor spaces, perfect for year round use, while other properties are modern with clean lines and big windows. The golf course here is ultra exclusive and the design uses the hills and the desert landscape to create a natural championship experience. Some luxury homes sit right on the fairways and others are higher up and they look down over the course. The private golf club here offers a 13,000q ft clubhouse with
(06:35) full-on dining and events. And they also have a 4,000 ft fitness center that feels more like a high-end gym. When you’re driving through the different parts of this area, the contrast is great. You’ll pass by starter homes and then turn the corner and see giant estates, some of the biggest in Las Vegas. But I’ve saved the best for last. And it’s a place that takes luxury living to a whole new level.
(06:56) And if I was moving to Las Vegas today and money was no object, this is a place that I would definitely want to live. This community combines luxury, location, and lifestyle. The ridges in Summerland cover 793 acres inside a guardgated neighborhood at the edge of Red Rock Canyon. You get wide open mountain views that are hard to beat. And in case you haven’t noticed, I am a big fan of the valley’s natural landscape.
(07:22) The neighborhood includes 14 smaller sections, nine half custom homes, while five offer luxury homes that are built by top developers. And that means that you’ll find a wide mix of semi-custom homes with builder upgrades to fully custom estates curated by well-known architects. This style is desert contemporary and every home is built to match the dramatic desert look. The ridges has some amazing extras.
(07:46) There’s Beer’s Bus Golf Course designed by Jack Nicholas with 18 holes based on his favorite courses from around the world. Then there’s the Club at the Ridges, which is a resort style center with pools, a fitness center, and dining spots. You can really see the quality here when you look at how the homes blend into the land. The custom design offers giant windows that frame the canyon, outdoor living areas made for
(08:12) entertaining, and finishes that match the desert toned aesthetic. As you drive into the ridges, you’ll notice how the streets flow into the natural paths and preserve the land’s beauty. They kept the desert plants, rock formations, and natural washes. Many homes sit high on the hills with multi-level patios, infinity pools, and landscaping that flows right into the scenery. The Ridges was named by Forbes as one of the most
(08:35) exclusive places to live in the US, and there’s not much land that’s left next to the Red Rock Canyon. The homes here are built to a very high standard, and over time, we have seen values go up. And the top custom estates, especially those with the best views, keep setting record prices. Homes here are real luxury and do start in the multi-million range. Custom estates can range from 20 million or more depending on the views
(08:59) and the features. Honestly, these are some of the most beautiful homes that I have ever seen and the way they’re built into the natural setting is definitely unique. If I had to pick one place to live in Las Vegas, no matter what the price, this would be it. You get true luxury living and beautiful nature all in one place. Each one of these communities definitely offer something different, but they’re all exciting in
(09:22) their own way. Whether you’re drawn to a peaceful mountain view, champion golf course living, or amazing views of the strip, Las Vegas definitely has something truly special to offer. You won’t find this mix of beauty, lifestyle, and value anywhere else in the country. If you’re serious about making Las Vegas your home, I would love to show you around. These amazing communities just have so much to offer, and seeing them in person is going to be
(09:48) completely different from on the video. I’ll help you find the one that fits your lifestyle best. The luxury market does move fast here, so homes with those stunning views in top locations like the ones I’ve showed you today don’t stay on market for long, especially in places like the Ridges or Southern Highlands. Email me at kristenyouluxuryppro.com right now to book your private tour before someone else grabs a home that
(10:11) could have been yours. Before you go, I want you to know that I’ll be sharing tours like this every single week.
